After joining Permanent Equity in 2018, and with over a decade of experience in small business operations, Kelie was tasked with building out PE’s talent function from scratch. Frustrated by misaligned executive search firms that didn’t understand the unique needs of lower middle-market companies, she began developing what would become 10th St. Talent. By early 2024, and in response to external customer demand, 10th St. Talent was born in an effort to expand services to include both Permanent Equity’s portfolio and other enterprising SMBs.

Kelie is passionate about aligning recruiting strategies with business objectives, leveraging people data to enhance hiring outcomes, and involving teams in creating a collaborative onboarding experience. Her mission is to transform recruiting from a transactional service into a strategic partnership that drives long-term growth for clients.
